A barcode entry currently starts with a default zero, not the same AI meal-quality assessment. - The Health Index trend can currently include barcode default-zero entries in its chart calculation. A dip caused by those entries is not an AI judgment of meal quality. - Food Memory is enabled by default on each device, and its toggle is stored locally rather than synced account-wide. In the normal single-meal flow, it stores one current gram hint per recognized, normalized ingredient instead of averaging. Users can rename or change grams, delete one entry, clear all entries, and keep up to 200 recently updated account entries. A manual edit can set the current hint; Siri can save without normal pre-save review, and multi-meal saves can sum duplicate normalized ingredients. - After at least 10 meals have been logged overall, the Nutrients view can infer nutrients that food names from the latest 7 days may undersupply. It does not measure deficiencies or provide a complete micronutrient ledger. - Charts support 7, 30, and 90-day views. - The app interface supports 22 languages. - Apple Health, Siri meal logging, and iOS widgets are Apple-platform-only features. - Barcode lookup checks Open Food Facts first and USDA FoodData Central as a fallback. Missing tracked nutrients may be AI-estimated. The Food Focus barcode portion is entered in grams and begins at 100 g or the last gram amount saved on that device for the exact barcode. - Food Focus generates a short home recommendation automatically from available app context. Eligible Pro users can open a detailed three-section review, and seven selectable personalities change the communication style. - During the normal in-app review, users can rename or remove ingredients and change ingredient or total-meal grams. Gram changes proportionally scale the current nutrition values rather than performing a new nutrient lookup. After a meal is saved, Edit with AI can apply a typed or spoken instruction directly; the current flow has no separate preview, version history, or dedicated undo action. - Food Focus target generation is deterministic rather than AI-generated. Without Apple Health it combines Mifflin–St Jeor estimated resting energy, a fixed profile-activity allowance, and a goal adjustment. On a connected iPhone, eligible Health resting energy can replace the resting estimate and imported active calories increase today's target one-for-one. Optional Pro calorie carryover is off by default, checks only yesterday after at least 10 logged meals, and can subtract yesterday's overage up to 40% of the base target. - Food Focus exposes five English Siri App Shortcuts on iPhone: general food logging plus breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Siri can analyze and save in the background without pre-save review and counts toward the first 10 logs before Pro is required. Quick Log widgets only open the relevant in-app meal, camera, or barcode flow. Daily Progress widgets display synchronized snapshots rather than guaranteed live data.
