About Food Focus
Food Focus is an AI-assisted calorie and nutrition tracker for iOS and Android, developed by Yurii Borys. It lets people log meals in five ways, review and edit every estimate, and reuse familiar portion context through Food Memory.

The app is designed to make meal logging faster while keeping the person using it in control of what is saved.
Five inputs
A meal is not always easiest to describe in the same way. Food Focus accepts five inputs, then gives you an editable result rather than treating the first estimate as final.
Take a new meal photo and use it as the starting point for an estimate.
Choose an existing image when you are logging a meal later.
Look up a packaged product in Open Food Facts or USDA, review any AI-filled missing fields, and enter the amount in grams.
Describe a meal aloud when speaking is more convenient than typing.
Describe foods and portions directly in words.
Food Memory
Food Memory is enabled by default on each device, with a locally stored toggle rather than an account-wide setting. In the normal single-meal flow, it keeps one current gram hint per recognized, normalized ingredient and may use that value when a future amount is ambiguous. It does not average repeated entries, and it does not turn an image or description into a direct measurement.
Important limits
Food Focus cannot directly measure a meal from a photo or description. Hidden ingredients, cooking oil, recipes, and portion size can change the real nutrition values. The Health Index produced for photo, gallery, voice, and text analyses is a heuristic; barcode entries currently start at zero. Inferred nutrient gaps are not measured deficiencies or a diagnosis.
